When it comes to Bali, people are not only looking to enjoy the beautiful scenery Bali has to offer, but they also wanted to have the best culinary experiences and Seminyak is definitely should be on your top list when it comes to fantastic foods with great services and lovely views.
Launched last year in 2017 by Adam McAsey, Bikini Restaurant is the answer for those who wants to experience a new form of lifestyle in a unique dining spot in Seminyak’s hip area and with more than 5 years’ experience under his belt, McAsey develop and brings Bikini Restaurant to a beautiful architectural tropical design with a New York loft warehouse style and Miami atmosphere.
Sophisticatedly designed by Melbourne-based Travis Walton Architecture and creative agency 21-19, the interiors of Bikini push the boundaries like no other. It’s sexy and sophisticated with a modern and energized playful aesthetic.
In addition to the impressive interior, there is a graphic fuchsia feature wall upon entry that was created by Melbourne based artist, Ash Keating. Keating was commissioned for the project and in his signature style, chose to use paint-filled fire extinguishers which were strategically sprayed from floor to ceiling to create the impactful effect.
“The menu is a fusion of what’s in season, what’s on trend and what I love to cook. We have broken it down so diners will be taken on a journey from mouthfuls to small and large share plates with inventive cocktails to match” said Jethro Vincent, the Creative Culinary Director of Bikini Restaurant.
To complete his statement, Vincent says “My vision for Bikini is to bring the highest quality dining experience, something you may get in a fine-dining restaurant and make it accessible in a fun, relaxed environment. We like to call it fun-dining.”
The front bar is led by Head Mixologist Arey Barker, who guides guests with a creative mix of drinks and ingredients and will recommend based on your personal preference. Cocktail lovers will experience a twist on ‘classics’ using modern techniques inspired by Bali’s local produce with the likes of olive oil fat washes, house-made syrups and infused gins.
